Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

To assist with all compliance and investigative matters within the department, ensuring management and the relevant authorities are promptly notified of all unlawful acts. Assist with the day to day operation of the office.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assist with the investigation of persons making application for products offered by the Ministry responsible for Registration and Citizenship Department inclusive of Spouse of Turks and Caicos Islanders and other areas as may be required.
  2. Assist in the preparation and presentation of case files, briefs and reports to government officials as required.
  3. Liaise with Immigration and other Ministry officials and other law enforcement agencies.
  4. Translate or cause to be translated the conversations and communiques in foreign languages.
  5. Under the necessary supervision, ensure proper processing of applications.
  6. Conduct formal/informal interviews of applicants including carrying out site visit.
  7. Prepare and submit files completed to the highest standard and within an allocated time.
  8. Assist with the management of a filing system.
  9. Act in the capacity of Compliance/Investigative Officer when required.
  10. Comply and adhere with all laws, policies, standing orders, emergency orders and notices.
  11. Perform other related tasks as defined.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications:          

·  Associate Degree in relevant areas such as Business Administration, Criminal Justice; General Studies, or the        equivalent would be preferred; or a College Diploma with (5) CXC and English as a strong pass and work related    certificates.

Experience: 

· The position requires a minimum of three (5) years on the job or related position experience to acquire the            necessary competencies to respond effectively to the challenges of the job. 

SALARY: Grade 5.1- $26,650.00 per annum
