Job Description:


This is a managerial position which has departmental responsibility for the functions of the Office. It has system wide responsibility for registration of all Births, Deaths, Marriages and Deeds in the TCI, providing supervision to senior and clerical staff. The Holder is expected to inspect, validate and execute a wide range of relevant documents in accordance with current practices and Deeds Ordinance.


1.    Aid in the preparation of guidelines / procedures regarding the implementation of new initiatives.

2.    Liaise with relevant statutory bodies and other entities, internal and external.

3.    Vet all applications and documents submitted to the office.

4.    Interview and advise clients when necessary regarding legal preliminaries.

5.    Approve and/or reject applications in accordance with policies and regulations.

6.    Sign all Documents including Apostilles.

7.    Assign and supervise tasks to be performed by the staff.

8.    Develop and implement methods and procedures for the expedient and efficient operation of the Office.

9.    Maintain a confidential Database system.

10.  Preparation of Budget.

11.  Adhere to all Public Service codes, rules and regulations.

12.  Perform other related tasks as assigned.



  • This Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies/related field or equivalent.


  • This position requires at least five (5) years on the job experience to acquire the necessary expertise to effectively respond to the challenges of the functions.

SALARY: Grade 8.1 - $53,193.40 per annum
