Director of Youth Affairs, Mrs. Jasmine Thomas Commented; “I am grateful Mr. Roach was able to take time out of his busy schedule to train youth workers on the current theories and competencies in youth work. This is especially important because Youth work is a dynamic and changing field and we as youth workers must be abreast on trends that are happening among the youth population. Therefore, our goals and objectives are constantly changing to meet the needs of the young people; hence being knowledgeable on strategic program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation procedures for youth development is important”
The Department of Youth Affairs extend thanks to all organizations that were represented: The TCI National Youth Council, Church Youth Groups, Teachers from various schools, The Boys Club of Grand Turk, The Staff of Youth Department and Youth in the Community.
