public notice: tropical weather outlook november 03 2024

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK:  Subtropical Storm Patty is located over the northeastern Atlantic Ocean near the Azores Islands. Elsewhere, there are two areas of interests being monitored for development.  1) Shower activity associated with a broad area of low pressure over the southwestern Caribbean Sea remains disorganized at this time. This system
has a high or 80 percent chance of formation through the next seven days.  2) A trough of low pressure just north of Puerto Rico and Hispaniola continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms, and gusty winds. This system has a low or 10 percent chance of formation through the next seven days.
