Cabinet has assigned Monday, 19 September 2022 as a National Day of Mourning in commemoration of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the day will be recognized as a public holiday.

The State Funeral of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will take place at Westminster Abbey, London, United Kingdom on Monday, 19 September 11:00am UK Time or 6:00am TCI Time.

His Excellency the Governor, Nigel Dakin and Premier, the Honourable Charles Washington Misick will travel to London later this week to attend the funeral and other accompanying events.

The public is encouraged to take the day to watch the historic events in London, spend quality time with family and loved ones, and remember those we’ve lost at home and abroad.
