Collection & Display of Business License Certificates

The Revenue Department would like to remind the business community that Business License Certificates must be promptly collected at the Revenue Department Offices ten(10) business days after payment has been made. Therefore, all outstanding certificates that were paid for beyond the stipulated ten(10) business days must be collected forthwith.

Licenses should be collected and displayed conspicuously at your place of business as stipulated by section 16(1) of the Business Licensing Ordinance.

Persons failing to display or produce a valid business licence are subject to closure as stipulated in section 16(2) of the Business Licensing Ordinance and is simultaneously committing an offence which under the provisions of 16(3) of the Business Licensing Ordinance is subject to a $1,000 fine.
