The general public is hereby advised as of 11th May 2020 the Department of Maritime and Shipping on Providenciales and Grand Turk respectively will be open to the service the general public during the hours 8:00a.m – 2: 00p.m Monday-Friday in line with phase 1B of the Turks and Caicos Islands reopening strategy.
In an effort to ensure compliance with safety measures in place by the Ministry of Health and the Turks and Caicos Islands Government the following measures will be in place:
- Only one (1) customer will be allowed to enter at a time to ensure and maintain social distancing;
- The customer must wear a mask upon entry;
- Customers hands will be sprayed with alcohol solution on entry
- Staff will service customers in protective clothing-masks, gloves
- A small desk will be located at the entrance for dropping and collecting documents.
We wish to further inform the public that all offices have been deep cleaned for your safety and that of staff, and cleaning will continue. If possible customers are strongly encouraged to submit documents for renewal or endorsement of license online at www.gov.tc inquires can be made via email or telephone 338-4161/
