POST CABINET MEETING STATEMENT- 10TH JUNE 2026

Her Excellency Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam chaired the 17th meeting of the Cabinet held on Wednesday June 10th 2026 at the Premier’s Office, Providenciales.  All members of Cabinet were present with the exception of the Hon. Ejay Saunders, Minister for Innovation and Hon. Rhondalee Knowles, with Khalila Astwood sitting as acting Attorney General. 

At this meeting Cabinet: 

Approved the reparcellation of a portion of parcel 61112/40. 

Approved the negotiated framework for the Northwest TCI Holding Ltd. Development. 

Endorsed the PATCI Strategic Plan 2025/26 to 2028/29. 

Approved in principle for policy proposals and associated drafting instructions for the amendment and modernization of the Consumer Protection Ordinance. 

Approved appointments to the Turks and Caicos Islands Sports Commission- Shanwell Gardiner-reappointed as Chair and Mr. Delray Lightbourne as member for a period of three (3) years. 

Approved Amendments to the Destination Management Fee Act, 2023 

Approved a payment from the Claims Against Government Account. 

Noted and approved the correction to a rental agreement location for the Ministry of Physical Planning. 

Noted the round robin approval 

Approved the acquisition of Parcel 10405/165 East Suburbs, Grand Turk.
