Her Excellency Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam chaired the 14th meeting of the Cabinet held on Wednesday April 29, 2026, at the Premier’s Office, Providenciales. All members of Cabinet were present with the exception of Hon. Arlington Musgrove, Minister for Physical Planning.
At this meeting Cabinet:
Approved legislative amendments to the National Honours Act.
Approved for the Department of Trade, Industry and Fair Competition to advance structured regional trade engagements.
Approved an Extension to Business Licensing Extension of Time Regulations 2026.
Noted the establishment of the Public Private Partnership Working Group on Hotel Employee Accommodations and its Terms of Reference.
Noted the Update on the Conch Fisheries Report-Technical Collaboration.
Approved proposed membership to the Technical Advisory Committee as the Government’s technical standards-setting and advisory body for digital identify and other priority digital initiatives.
Approved an amendment to Schedule 2 (Under Regulation 5), Part II of the Road Traffic Regulations to replace existing certificates of roadworthiness.
Approved reforms to modernize National Health Insurance Framework.
Approved the appointment of Ms. Davanya Deveaux as member of the National Health Insurance Board for a two (2) year term.
Approved the appointment of Angy Been as temporary Chairperson of the Procurement Board.
Approved recommendations on subsidised Air Service Arrangements.
Noted the round robin approval:
Approved appointment of Mr. Chester Robinson as Acting Chairman of the Turks and Caicos Islands Civil Aviation Authority.
