Cabinet Statements

Here’s what happened in the latest Cabinet meeting:

  • It approved in principle the introduction of a National Quality Policy 2024 to strengthen TCI’s National Quality Infrastructure with the aim to participate successfully in international trade and support sustainable development.
  • It received an information paper regarding the proposed Lagoon basin creation.
  • It received an information paper in respect of the Strand Development Dredging Project.
  • It approved a proposal for investing the Consolidated Fund free cash reserves into short-term fixed deposits.
  • It received a presentation on the Transportation Improvement Plan for the island of Providenciales.
  • It approved the recommendations made in relation to the Independent Statutory Bodies Pay and Grading Review.
