TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS POST CABINET MEETING STATEMENT - Thursday 7 October 2021

His Excellency the Governor, Nigel Dakin, chaired the 28th meeting of Cabinet on Thursday 7 October 2021 via video link. 

All members were present. 

At this meeting Cabinet:  

• Approved the 4th supplementary to the Development Agreement between the Crown, the Government of the Turks and Caicos Islands, Grand Turk Cruise Terminal Ltd and Carnival Corporation, as it relates to an extension to the dock and additional lab Deb based facilities on the south western end of Grand Turk.
  

• Approved the advancement to the House of Assembly of the proposed amendments to the Road Traffic Ordinance to implement the Vehicle Policy 2021 including to give authority for the Director of the Department of Road Safety to issue Vehicle Importer’s Permits.
