DARINELLE WILLIAMS APPOINTED EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATOR IN THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S CHAMBERS

The Office of the Deputy Governor is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Darinelle Williams as the Executive Administrator in the Attorney General's Chambers.

Ms. Williams embarked on her academic journey at the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College, where she earned an Associate Degree in Humanities and Fine Arts (Law) in June 2019. She later graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida International University in December 2024 with a Bachelor's Degree in Global Studies, concentrating in Sociology. Additionally, she holds a Certification in Social/Behavior Research from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) affiliated with Florida International University.

Ms. Williams previously held the position of Assistant Registration Officer at the Financial Services Commission from 2019 to 2020, gaining valuable knowledge into regulatory and compliance processes. She first joined public service as an Administrative Assistant in the Attorney General's Chambers from 2020 to 2021, where she acquired essential skills in legal administration, document management, and governmental procedures.

Beyond her professional experience, Ms. Williams has shown a profound dedication to public service, mentorship, and leadership.

As Deputy Head Girl at H.J. Robinson High School, she received the prestigious Governor's Award for Leadership in 2017. During her time as a Youth Parliamentarian from 2019 to 2020, she engaged actively in national discussions, honing her policy awareness, advocacy skills, and understanding of governance. This experience has reinforced her ability to analyze legislative issues, communicate effectively, and contribute significantly to public affairs.

Additionally, she has been a dedicated mentor through iTutor – Personal Tutoring Services (2021–Present), where she has guided students toward academic success. Her commitment to tutoring reflects her dedication to education, patience, and ability to empower others, all of which align with her broader commitment to public service and capacity building.

Reflecting on her appointment, Ms. Williams shared: "I am thankful to God for His continued blessings over my journey. I also want to thank my family, mentors, and colleagues for their unwavering support. This role marks an exciting new chapter, and I look forward to contributing to the continued success of the Attorney General's Chambers and making a meaningful impact on the Turks and Caicos Islands."

The Attorney General, Hon. Rhondalee Braithwaite-Knowles, commented, "Ms. Williams is an exceptionally accomplished and professional young person. Given her experience, skills, and expertise, Darinelle is a welcome addition to my Chambers. Her confidence, well-honed communication skills, dedication to planning, and positive engagement complement her goal-oriented approach and commitment to personal development and teamwork. In congratulating Ms. Williams, Deputy Governor and Head of the Public Service H.E. Anya Williams stated, "Congratulations to Ms. Darinelle Williams on her appointment as Executive Administrator in the Attorney General's Chambers. Having had the opportunity to interact with Darinelle during her previous stints within the AGC, I can attest to her professionalism and admirable skills.

I am pleased that she chose to return to the Turks and Caicos Islands Government after completing her studies to take up permanent employment. I wish her a rewarding and highly successful public service career.
