(Providenciales August 17, 2022) The Ministry of Health and Human Services wishes to advise the public of the changes to Migrant Health processing approved by Cabinet and effective by August 1st, 2022.
- The unit will no longer be accepting applications for medical certificates from
- Applications will only be accepted from one of the locally licensed and approved medical facilities or pre-approved companies. List is provided below.
- Effective 1st September 2022, the cost for a medical certificate for one year will increase to $50 per person. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid upfront.
- Pre-approved companies hiring from overseas are strongly encouraged to have medical documents checked by a locally licensed and approved health care facility prior to submission to the Migrant Health Unit.
- Applicants who are applying from or are citizens of countries deemed as high risk must have an approved medical before entering the TCI. High-risk countries are indicated
- Applicants from all other countries, not requiring a visa to enter the TCI may enter the country and have medical done on The requirements for the medical is the same if done within or external to the TCI.
- Applicants are advised to have the following vaccines before arrival to avoid delay with approval:

- Two doses of Adult Diphtheria and Tetanus or Tdap
- Two doses of Measles Mumps Rubella (MMR)
- One dose of Polio

- The new migrant health schedule are as follows:
- Monday and Wednesday – Health care facilities drop off
- Tuesday and Thursday – Pre-approved companies drop off
- Friday – Pick-up or issuance
