Her Excellency the Governor Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam chaired the 9th meeting of Cabinet being held in Providenciales on Wednesday March 11th , 2026. All members were present with the exception of Hon. Arlington Musgrove, Minister for Physical Planning and Hon. Ejay Saunders, Minister for Technology. 

At this meeting Cabinet 

Noted the progress on the Turks and Caicos Islands National Census and the Enhanced Country Poverty Assessment. 

Approved the following appointments to the Turks and Caicos Island Status Commission; effective 1 April 2026 Hon. Karen L. Delancy-Chair, Mr. Kenneth Adams Jr. member, Ms. Hyacinth Swann-member, Mr. David S. Been-member, Ms. Latisha S. Williams Bruce-member, Ms. Terrica Walkin-Secretary. 

Approved the appointment of the following persons to the Water and Sewage Board for a period of two (2) Years commencing 1st April 2026, they area: Permanent Secretary-Ministry responsible for Utilities-Chair, Chief Engineer or delegate-Member (ex-officio),Chief Environmental Health Officer or delegate-Member (ex-officio),Director of Planning or delegate-member (ex-officio), Director of Environment & Coastal Resources or delegate-member (ex-officio), Government Economist or delegate-member (ex-officio), Private Sector-member, Mr. Perry Missick-new member, Mr. Bertram T. S. Garland-new member, Mrs. Teresa Andrews- Secretary . 

Approved the Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure support for the 3rd Supplementary Appropriation Bill 2025. 

Approved organizational structure for Invest Turks and Caicos to strengthen delivery of agency functions. 

Approved in principle the proposal submitted by Turks Port Investments Ltd. to the Turks and Caicos Islands Government. 

Noted the update on Air Service Arrangements between Grand Turk and South Caicos. 

Approved for the TCIG to seek to enter into an agreement with Conor Development Ltd. 

Approved the introduction of a Bill to amend the House of Assembly (Speaker and other Members) (Salaries and Allowances) Act to give effect to the recommendation of the Integrity Commission. 

Approved a payment from the Claims Against Government. 

Approved the 3rd Quarter report for the third quarter of financial year 2025-26. 

Approved a cost neutral reallocation within the TCIAA 2025/2026 capital budget to address critical areas in aviation.
