Her Excellency Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam chaired the 11th meeting of the Cabinet held Monday March 30th 2026 at the Premier’s Office, Providenciales. All members of Cabinet were present with the exception of the H.E. Anya Williams- Deputy Governor, with Athenee Basden sitting as Acting Deputy Governor. 

At this meeting Cabinet: 

Noted the Statutory Bodies 3rd Quarter Special Purpose Financial Report for FY 2025-2026. 

Approved the appointment of the following persons as members of the National Insurance Board Mr. Richard Gibbs, Jahmal Misick and Rosemary Jolly. 

Noted the report on the IRD Status of the Abandonment of Claim for Waiver of HRTT Interest & Penalties. 

Approved the Revenue and Expenditure 2026-2027 and referred the same to Parliament. 

Approved the Strategic Acquisition of Parcels at Long Bay, Providenciales 

Approved appointment of Boards and Tribunal in the Ministry of Immigration and Border Services:

Approved in principle a payment from the Claims Against Gvt. Account for road works on the island of North Caicos. 

Approved the payment of rental arrears for a property on the island of Grand Turk. 

Noted the paper regarding the proposal to utilize reserve fund to fund operations at the FSC, and recommended a way forward. 

Noted a paper on Amendments to the Water Undertaking (Grand Turk, Salt Cay and South Caicos) Act and the proposed way forward regarding the operations.
