JOB SUMMARY:
To support the Director of the Department of Motor Vehicles in the enforcement of the Road Traffic, Motor Vehicle Driving License and Motor Vehicle Third Party Insurance Ordinances, Road Safety Code and educate the public.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Comply with Public Service Ordinance and Handbook, code of ethics and notices to Staff.
· Ensure that all DMV Rules and Regulations are enforced.
· Report to the Director/Deputy Director any matters affecting the operations of Department.
· Ensure that airport and cruise port checks are carried out
· Liaise with Public Works Department engineers regarding road signs and speed bumps.
· Ensure that credible driving testing is carried out properly.
· Ensure that Liaison Officers maintain proper daily inventory for business functioning (decals, Inspection books etc.)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications:
· An associate Degree in Business or equivalent
· 3 years Supervisory Management experience in a similar position.
· Demonstrated leadership skills/coursework.
Experience:
Supervisory Management Experience in a similar position.
SALARY: Grade 6.1- $45,992 per annum
