The Director of the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) wishes to advise the motoring public that pursuant to section 4(2) of the Road Traffic Amendment Regulation (No 3) Regulation 22 bill, effective November 30, 2023, all vehicles operating in the Turks and Caicos Islands should have displayed on the front and rear of the vehicle the new license plate with the class of license shown by plate type. Failure to adhere to this requirement will result in the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force enforcing the provisions of the Regulations. Vehicles without the required plates will be stopped and or issued traffic tickets where appropriate.

Kindly ensure that all operators adhere to the requirements of the regulations.

The DMV has supplies of all classes of license plates in stock, and readily available for collection.
