The Department of Trade, Industry, and Fair Competition will host its inaugural National Trade Show, “Made in TCI” on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 10:00a.m. to 7:00p.m. at the Stubbs Diamond Plaza in the Bight, Providenciales.
“Made in TCI” is an initiative which falls under the Department of Trade’s Trade Promotion pillar. The aim of the Trade Promotion pillar is to assist trade importers, exporters, and small businesses to source supplies as well as to market their goods and services both domestically and internationally.
The National Trade Show is dubbed “Made in TCI” to account for the wave of innovation that is emerging in the Turks and Caicos Islands, hence building awareness of Brand TCI. The goal of this event is to promote goods and services that are locally produced, including handmade jewellery, beverages, leather goods, home goods, arts and craft, tobacco products, sauces and condiments, catering services, photography services, villa management services, among others.
There will be 30 businesses from across the Turks and Caicos Islands that will participate in the exhibition, as well as 6 government stakeholders that assist in the promotion of domestic and international trade. 5:00 – 7:00p.m. – “Singers are Made in TCI Too” Competition
