Social Media Marketing Workshop Hailed a Success

The Department of Trade, Industry and Consumer Affairs successfully hosted a Social Media Marketing Workshop in Providenciales on Wednesday 30th October 2019 and in Grand Turk on Thursday 31st October 2019.

A total of 36 small business owners attended the workshop which addressed critical areas such as: social media advertising, identifying the appropriate social media platform for your business, branding and social media return on investment.

The Department of Trade, Industry and Consumer Affairs was widely commended for having organized and hosted the workshop.

I attended the Social Media workshop last week. This was my first seminar with the Department of Trade – and if future seminars are of this quality, I would certainly be interested in attending. Thank you again for a very educational day.” – Karen Lawson, Jai’s, Providenciales

This Social Media Workshop will make our business more efficient and a lot more proficient. Thanks again for hosting this session. I look forward to attending future ones.” – Melanie Smith, TCI Recruitment Group, Providenciales

“What I thought would be a refreshers course/workshop for someone like me who uses social media often, was much more insightful. I am impressed. Toucan team exceeded my expectations. I now have key knowledge on how to effectively use social media and take my business to the next level. “– Anika Talbot, Manager at A&H Beauty Supply, Grand Turk

The small business owners who attended the workshop are now better equipped to leverage social media as a marketing and brand awareness tool.
