National Trust to implement enhancement projects at LWC & Conch Bar Caves
The Turks & Caicos National Trust is constantly improving the products and services it provides to guests and customers. This tenet has gained financial support to further site enhancement, specifically at Little Water Cay and Conch Bar Caves in Middle Caicos.
The recent budget allocation will be spent towards the enhancement of Little Water Cay floating dock which is vital to the operations of the site as it ensures a safe docking location for tour operators to transport and drop-off visitors. The floating dock can adjust to the rising and falling water levels, making it easier to get on and off the watercraft, hence, benefitting tour partners and the visitors themselves.
Likewise, Conch Bar Caves’ challenges with electricity at the reception/office facility will be mitigated once the installation for power from Fortis TCI has connected the facility to the grid. Power installation at this site is of utmost importance to better serve the visitors, as well as improve the day-to-day working condition of the staff.
With improvements on the above-mentioned sites, the National Trust hopes to encourage more guests to visit the sites, increase patronage and elicit support towards accomplishing its mission to safeguard the cultural, historical and natural heritage of the TCI.
By creating service culture and providing infrastructural improvements, the organization vows to continue providing memorable moments and warm interactions for the visitors experiencing Turks and Caicos Islands.
