NATIONAL YOUTH AWARDS 2025-2026 TO CELEBRATE EXCELLENCE IN YOUTH LEADERSHIP AND SERVICE

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, 23 January 2026 — The Department of Youth Affairs is pleased to announce the staging of the National Youth Awards 2025–2026, which will be held on Saturday, 7 February 2026. This prestigious event represents the second biannual hosting of the National Youth Awards in the Turks and Caicos Islands and will celebrate outstanding young people and youth groups who are making meaningful contributions to national development.
 
Held under the theme "Youth with Purpose: Building a Sustainable TCI," the National Youth Awards are designed to recognise and honour leaders, achievers, innovators, and change makers between the ages of 12 and 35 who have demonstrated excellence, commitment, and positive impact within their communities and across the nation.
 
The awards celebrate both individuals and youth groups whose efforts reflect strong leadership, service, creativity, resilience, and a dedication to uplifting others. Through these awards, the Department of Youth Affairs continues to highlight the critical role young people play in shaping a sustainable and prosperous future for the Turks and Caicos Islands.
 
Nominations for the National Youth Awards opened on 26 September 2025 and closed on 19 November 2025. The response from the public was strong, reflecting the breadth of youth talent and leadership present throughout the islands. A rigorous selection process has identified exceptional individuals and groups whose contributions exemplify the spirit of youth excellence and community service.
 
The National Youth Awards Ceremony is an invitation-only event, bringing together nominees, award recipients, community leaders, partners, and stakeholders to celebrate excellence in youth development and service. The ceremony will feature the presentation of awards recognising outstanding achievement across multiple categories, honouring those young people who are actively shaping the future of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
