Chrishanda Hall Appointed as Manager of Registration and Citizenship
The Office of the Deputy Governor is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Chrishanda Hall to the post of Manager of Registration and Citizenship within the Ministry of Border Control and Employment Services.
Ms. Hall is a graduate of the Turks & Caicos Islands Community College and holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Studies with specialization in Finance and Management
In 2003 Ms. Hall joined the Turks & Caicos Islands Financial Services Commission as the Personal Secretary to the Superintendent working through several promotions, such as: Administrative Assistant & Examiner, Junior Bank & Trust Analyst and Registration Officer. These positions afforded her training and exposure to various sectors of the financial industry.
In July 2016, Ms. Hall joined the Turks & Caicos Islands Government in the capacity of Customer Service Center Supervisor within the Ministry of Border Control and Employment Services’ Grand Turk office with a mandate to improve customer service delivery.
Under her oversight the department saw numerous improvements as well as the implementation of new systems and initiatives aimed to create a holistic approach to improvement in service delivery within the Ministry of Border Control and Employment Services.
Ms. Hall commenting on her new appointment stated; “I am delighted for the opportunity to serve as Manager of Registration and Citizenship and will continue to show the same devotion to duty as shown in my previously held positions. I am grateful to those who have shown confidence in me and I will not fail. I live by Pele’s words, ‘Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.’ I pledge to maintain integrity and serve to the highest possible standards.”
Commenting on the appointment, Her Excellency, Deputy Governor, Anya Williams said; “I am pleased to congratulate Ms. Chrishanda Hall on her new appointment. As a part of our efforts to continue to improve service delivery across government, key focus was placed on the restructuring of the Ministry of Border Control and Employment Services Customer Service Centers in Grand Turk and Providenciales which has yielded significant improvements.
The enhanced functioning of the Registration and Citizenship Department is vital to the day to day lives of the Turks & Caicos Islands community and we are confident that Ms. Hall’s professional background and experience will be an asset to that department and will help her to continue to excel as we have become accustomed to expect over her tenure.”
