EDWARD HALL JR APPOINTED AS SENIOR BUDGET ANALYST

The Office of the Deputy Governor is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Edward Hall Jr to the role of Senior Budget Analyst within the Budget Office of the Ministry of Finance.

In 2012, Mr. Hall received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Marketing from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom and later that year returned home and began employment at First Caribbean International Bank as a Customer Service Representative. In April 2013, he joined the Turks and Caicos Islands Civil Service as a Statistician within the Department of Statistics and remained there until his appointment to Senior Budget Analyst which officially commenced on January 16th 2020. During his time in the Statistics Department, he was able to be a part of initiatives such as: the Labour Force Survey, Consumer Price Index (CPI), Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey and Balance of Payments (BOP) to name a few. Mr. Hall’s training experience consists of National Accounts Statistics, CPI, International Comparison Programme (ICP), and External Sector Statistics workshops.

With assistance from the Professional Development Fund, Mr. Hall is also near the completion of a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of London and is also pursuing a certification in Project Management.

Mr. Hall while discussing his new appointment stated; I am humbled and eternally grateful to God for the opportunity to serve in the capacity of Senior Budget Analyst within the Budget Office. I would like to express my profound gratitude for being regarded for this role and pledge my commitment to do my part to ensure the office and government's overall success and will certainly live up to the mantle given to me. I am excited for this new challenge and will approach it with vigor and diligence to the benefit of the Budget Office and the entire TCIG.”

Deputy Governor and Head of the Public Service Her Excellency Anya Williams in congratulating Mr. Hall stated; “It is with great pleasure that I take the opportunity to congratulate Mr. Hall on his recent promotion within the TCI Public Service.  Edward will certainly be a great miss to the Statistics Department where he assisted in carrying out numerous pertinent surveys across the Turks and Caicos Islands during his tenure, but I commend him for not only taking advantage of the opportunity to further upgrade his educational skills through the assistance of our Civil Service Professional Development Fund, but also in embarking on a new career path through this new appointment which will see him take on an even more senior role.  Congratulations Edward!”
