Patricia Beckford
Patricia Beckford is a Chartered Valuation Surveyor. She is currently one of the two Deputy Chief Valuation Officers for the Turks & Caicos Island Government (TCIG) and she is based in Grand Turk. She is a holder of an MBA in Construction and Real Estate and a BSc. in Estate Management from the University of Reading, UK. Added to her bundle of achievements is her diploma in Land Economy and Valuation Surveying (LEVS) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Training. She achieved the highest level of professional certification in Valuation from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
After 15 years of service with the government of Jamaica as a Senior Valuer she went into the private sector operating as a licensed Real Estate Dealer. She joined the Valuation Department of the TCIG in 2006 and she managed the Providenciales Valuation Office single-handedly before relocating to the Grand Turk office in 2016.
With over 30 year experience in the real estate industry she performs the duties of a property manager, sales agent and valuation surveyor. Currently her work entails the valuation of state owned property interests and the reviewing of property transactions for stamp duty purposes in the Turks & Caicos Islands.
