James Fritz
Mr. Fritz began working for the Turks and Caicos Islands Government on January 2nd 1990 at the then Land Survey Department, known now as Survey and Mapping in the post Survey Technician, where he gathered a number of years’ experience in Land Surveying.
In June 1998, Mr. Fritz successfully completed the Survey and Cartography Diploma Program at Oakland’s college, England, U.K. where he obtained a Higher National Diploma in Survey & Cartography. Mr. Fritz also attended the University of East London, where he successfully completed the program in December of 2005 with a Second Class Honour’s Bachelor’s Degree in Survey & Mapping.
During his tenure in the TCI Government, Mr. Fritz has had the opportunity to wear various hats such as District Surveyor in July 1998, Assistant Director where he was transferred in 1999 to Head the Providenciales Office and Deputy Director of Survey and mapping Department, January 2006, where he now resides in Grand Turk.
Mr. Fritz has had the opportunity represent the TCIG at numerous seminars, such as ESRI Seminar in San Diego and also R3i regional Risk Reduction initiative.
